A small business marketing and sales expert, Janice Albokai’s 25-year career has ranged from telemarketing to direct sales to being a marketing expert for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Since 1993 Janice has consulted with over 5,000 small businesses, from traditional to Internet marketing to social media marketing strategies.
For six years during the 1990s, Janice worked with four chambers of commerce in Northern California, where she developed and implemented targeted programs to drive membership. This included the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, a 93-mile-wide area in northern California encompassing 39 other chambers of commerce.
In addition, Janice spearheaded the growth of the River City Small Business Chamber, raising its membership from 400 local businesses to more than 1,200 in less than two years. During this time, Janice’s business development team increased membership revenue to more than $500,000 while sustaining healthy membership retention levels.
